One of EDC's two annual conferences, ETBS is South Florida's premier event for science and technology startups who convene for one day to preview 12 - 15 of the most promising young companies in our region, and participate in meaningful networking opportunities throughout the day. 

The conference is held each November and combines keynote addresses by industry leaders, presenting company and sponsor exhibits, and panel discussions on topics that are key to entrepreneurial success. Previous keynote speakers included Mike Levy (Founder, Sportsline), Ed Iacobucci (Founder of Citrix Systems), Christos Cotsakos (Former Chairman of E*Trade), Lew Temares (Dean and Former CIO, College of Engineering, University of Miami) Kevin Hooper (Hewlett Packard), Monica Leuchtefeld (EVP Office Depot), and many more.

Now in its 13th year, ETBS provides entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors and service providers a venue to learn about the latest advances in science and technology,  hear from industry veterans who have started and grown successful companies, and discover new partnership opportunities. The 2010 conference will be held on Friday, November 12th at the Hilton Hotel Deerfield Beach.
