The Enterprise Development Corporation of South Florida, (EDC), a public/private partnership specializing in providing business development services to emerging science and technology companies, announced today that Daniel Cane, co-founder of Blackboard (NASDAQ:BBBB) will each be speaking at its 10^th Annual Emerging Technology Business Showcase (ETBS).  Dubbed a "Salute to Entrepreneurship", this year's conference will be held Friday, November 9, 2007 at the Hilton Hotel, Deerfield Beach and will feature twelve of the most exciting new science and technology ventures in South Florida representing the biomedical, "green" technologies, software and internet sectors.
