Boca Raton, FL -- October 19, 2005 - The Enterprise Development Corp. of South Florida (EDC), a public/private partnership specializing in providing strategic business development services to emerging science and technology companies, announced today that The Gold Coast Venture Capital Association will co-host its 8th Annual Emerging Science and Technology Showcase (ETBS) taking place on Tuesday, November 15th at the Westin Hotel on Cypress Creek Rd. in Fort Lauderdale.

This year's conference features Traver Gruen-Kennedy, Vice President and Chief Evangelist, Citrix Systems as keynote speaker, as well as presentations by 12 young companies from throughout South Florida, and panel discussions on funding options for early stage science and technology ventures.
